Oversees public health services, healthcare access, disease prevention, sanitation, and health facility management across Pohnpei State.
Health. The Standing Committee on Health has nine members. This Committee has purview over matters pertaining to physical and mental health, and the activities and operations of the Department of Health Services, except the Division of Social Services. It considers and report on all bills, resolutions, financial requests, and other matters referred to it by the Legislature or within its oversight jurisdiction.
