Standing Committee on Resources and Development

Resources and Development.  The Standing Committee on Resources and Development shall has nine members.  This Committee has purview over matters pertaining to the economy of Pohnpei and the resources thereof, including economic planning and policies, private and public investments, development loans, private savings, indebtedness, commerce and trade, foreign investment, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, mineral resources and mining, industries and the activities and operations of the Department of Resources and Development, the Office of Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation, the Economic Planning Commission and the Price Control Commission.to consider and report on all bills, resolutions, financial requests, and other matters referred to it by the Legislature or within its oversight jurisdiction.
