Standing Committee on Finance

Finance.  The Standing Committee on Finance has eleven members.  The membership is structured to have the presiding officers, and the chairman of all the standing committees in its composition. The Finance Committee has purview over matters relating to proposed expenditures and the financial administration of Pohnpei, matters pertaining to tax and non-tax revenue, the activities and the operations of the Department of Treasury and Administration, except for the Division of Personnel, Labor and Manpower Development.  Matters relating to the Pohnpei Public Auditor’s Office are referred to this Committee for review and recommendation. It considers all bills, resolutions, financial requests, and other matters referred to it by the Legislature or within its oversight jurisdiction.
